More Bug Fixes


Hey gang, thanks for tuning in. We've got some general fixes and balance updates for you, check them out!

Features

  • The current floor number is now displayed to the player with each new floor entered.
    • Added a title card to show the current floor number.
    • Added floor number to combat log.

Balance

  • Adjusted enemy growth curve.
    • Enemy stats now grow exponentially based on the floor the player is on.
    • This change reinforces the player's need to return to the first floor to level up, as enemies now typically grow in strength faster than the player.
  • Equipment now spawns with a maximum bonus equal to the floor the player is on.
    • The old values were, frankly, kinda busted.
  • Levels are roughly 40% smaller
    • A lot of the feedback we received was related to the map generation being too large. We've toned things down a bit, so you shouldn't ever get lost in a single room anymore.

Bug Fixes

  • UI now scales to the player's screen better. You no longer require a 1080p display to see your health or launch the game, so that's pretty neat.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the player to move strangely for the first few seconds on each new floor.
  • Equipment will no longer spawn in places the player can't reach.
